• COLUMBIA HEIGHTS 72, IRONDALE 58: Senior guard Zach Lofton scored 42 points for Class 3A, No. 10 Columbia Heights, the seventh time he’s surpassed the 40-point barrier this season, helping the Hylanders outlast Irondale in a key North Suburban matchup.
• ROBBINSDALE ARMSTRONG 88, COON RAPIDS 76: Five players scored in double figures for Armstrong, led by 25 from senior forward Marquel Curtis, as the Falcons held off Coon Rapids in the Northwest Suburban.
• ROSEVILLE 84, STILLWATER 68: With just one previous three-pointer in his varsity career, Roseville junior Emeche Wells stunned everyone with seven from beyond the arc, leading his team with a season-high 28 points and adding 10 rebounds. Roseville is now tied with Cretin-Derham Hall atop the Suburbean East Conference; the teams meet in the regular-season finale on March 4.
• MINNEAPOLIS SOUTH 77, MINNEAPOLIS NORTH 66: South outscored North by 12 points in the second half to pull out a win in a battle for second place in the Minneapolis City Conference.
• MINNEAPOLIS SOUTHWEST 80, MINNEAPOLIS HENRY 75 (OT): Southwest senior forward Matt St. Anthony scored with three seconds left in regulation to send the game to overtime, and the Lakers took advantage. Senior Aron Bell-Bey scored five points in overtime to lead Southwest, finishing with a team-high 23 for the game.
• BLAKE 34, ST. PAUL ACADEMY 33: St. Paul Academy sophomore guard Josh Gray made a three-pointer with six seconds to play to tie the score at 33, but Blake’s Kebu Johnson made the first of two free throws with one second remaining to give his team the win.
• EASTVIEW 43, LAKEVILLE SOUTH 41: Eastview senior Frank Veldman hit a 10-foot running jumper with 1.1 seconds left to give the Class 4A, No. 6 Lightning the win. With the win, Eastview improved to 13-3 in the South Suburban, moving into a tie for first with Eagan.
• CHASKA 70, HOLY ANGELS 55: Seniors Ross Travis and Max Watts each had 19 points for the Class 3A, No. 3 Hawks, as they moved to 11-1 in the Missota Conference and wrapped up at least a share of the conference title.
• CHANHASSEN 79, RED WING 59: The Storm won for the seventh time in its last eight games, using a 20-point first half from senior Chance Panning to beat the Wingers.
